Namma Wi-Fi Service Launched In Bangalore



Good News for the Bangalore people that too specially for Smart phone users. For the first time in India, Karnataka Govt implemented Free Wi-Fi services for Bangalore people in 5 areas. Karnataka Govt named this free Wi-Fi service as "Namma Wi-Fi". Namma Wi-Fi means "Our Wi-Fi".

This Namma Wi-Fi is available to all the users in the areas of M.G Road, Santhi Nagar, Yaswanthapur, Kormangala and Indira Nagar since yesterday onwards. In the coming months, it's going to extend in several areas of Bangalore and later once it is successful, it will be available in the other Metro cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai, Calcutta.

Once Wi-Fi in our Smart Phone connected with Namma Wi-Fi, will generate one password and users can use this free Wi-Fi service only for 30 minutes in a day. The Browsing speed approximately will be 512KBPS. Presently, Karnataka Govt and D-Vios Internet service provider together working for Namma Wi-Fi.
