I have one question always in mind that "If some one copied my content then, How Google can find my article original" as i am the author of content. Today i got a solution from Google Webmasterhelp forum.
Google Webmasterhelp team answered for this question asked by Kunal from Ahmedabad, India.
This is really amazing question from Kunal as every blogger had this question in mind. Google answered it brilliantly about what they actually crawl the site with GoogleBot.
1) Google cant crawl entire pages of your site. It fetches around 8 or 9 pages every time. They don't set the copy of your entire site. Google crawl architecture support to fetch the all the information about but web might crash from the requests.
2) Google always put some hub's in crawling on highly page rank having sites. They crawl those site continuously. So crawling continuously means if anybody copied your content Google knows your article is the first on web.
3) What about smaller sites as in the above question, If site 'A' copied article from site 'B'. Here Google tries hard to find who is the original author of that article. Google not sure about they can find your article is origianl.
4) Here we can do two things, If you are the original author of that article you can report it to
Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
DMCA request: http://www.google.com/dmca.html
Google News source attribution metatags: http://www.google.com/support/news_pu...
You can claim copyrights as an author. If any down graded sites continuously coping articles from other sites Google might think those sites are SPAM.
