One of my friend ask me to solve his "Exception Process Message" error in Windows. In previous days i am pretty much worried about this error while using XP. But actually it is very simple to solve this error in Windows through registry editor.
1) We can solve it by using registry editor. Open registry editor via CMD, Open command prompt and type 'regedit' which stands for registry editor. Then click ENTER.
2) Their we will get 5 keys such as Root key, User key, Machine key, Users Key, Config key. Don't confuse about User key and Users key both are different. Now we have go through Machine Key registry.
3) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE ---->>> SYSTEM ----->>> ControlSet001 --->>> Control ---->> Windows.
Steps to rectify "Exception Process Message" error :

Their we can see value name is 'Erro Mode', Double click it. Change its value data 0 to 2. By default the value data will be 0, If you don't want see that error in your windows then make it 2. That's it your done. You will never see this error.
NOTE : If your regedit command not working in your windows, No need to worry it is just simply you are disabled your registry editor. Enable your registry edit settings in group policy settings.
Open Run and type gpedit.msc, It is a .exe file of group policy settings and we are calling it from Run Command.
gpedit.msc ---->> Group Policy Settings --->> User Configuration --->> Administrative Tools --->> Prevent AccessTo registry Editing Tools.
Double click on it, Here you can Enable or Disable your registry settings.
