Reasons Behind Slow Website Loading.

There is a usual complaints about slowness of loading a website in our day to day life. We used to have an opinion that if we have a high-speed internet connection with 4MBPS or 10MBPS will support to load the website fastly. But this completely a wrong opinion.

It is completely based on the Latency(Latency is a time interval between the stimulation and response), Not based on our internet Download & Upload speed. Only if the main server transmits the data to the specified server in other location gives the speed of loading the website. If the data transmits with high speed to our server, will help to load the website fastly, otherwise it will be slow.

Usually we used to test our internet speed on  Speedtest.net which shows the results as like above picture. You will get PING and Download & Upload speed results. Here PING calculate our latency between the main server and our specified server.

If we want to know the latency of any website, We have to ping that site in command prompt.

Here TTL=55 in the above picture shows that the Google website latency is 55 where the transmission of the data between the main server to the specified server. Where as Request Timed Out means that there is the no data connectivity.

  1. Good post.Mine also gets slower sometimes,and I follow certain steps to increase the internet speed..which I will share now,
    * Check to see if faster internet connections are in your area:
    Fiber optic and cable internet tend to be faster than DSL and dial-Up.
    *Do some basic maintenance on your PC:
    a scan disk, a virus scan, a malware scan, and clear your recycle bin.Delete old files and temporary files.
    * Reset Your Modem
    Sometimes switching OFF and ON your modem helps you to speed the internet.
    * Optimize your cache or temporary Internet files.
    These files improve your Internet connection performance by not downloading the same file over and over.

    Most of the times I find an increase in the internet speed which I confirm through any speed tests like Scanmyspeed.com or anything of that sort.
